Course Description

This on-line course offers Canadian Democratic Institutions the tools and knowledge needed to make educated decisions about securing their IT infrastructure. It also provides an overview of the threat landscape relevant to Canada’s democratic process and introduces mitigation activities to protect election events. Given that the democratic institutions workforce is largely transient and volunteer based in nature, it will also help them to become more knowledgeable on cyber security to increase assurance of secure election implementations and the integrity of election results.
